All three agreements are supported by a series of standard forms that facilitate contract management. While work has been suspended on most construction sites until alert level 3 is reached, it is not yet known how contractors and employers will deal with contractual consequences as soon as operations resume. While it is not possible to provide definitive and broad answers to all construction projects, several important provisions should be taken into account by the parties to the 2018 edition of JBCC`s main construction contract and the JBCC designated/selected subcontracting agreement (JBCC cumulative agreements), including the revision of the practical completion date and termination. The JBCC® PBA is suitable for all work contracts and can be used with a list of parts or a schedule of rates and drawings. The PBA is synchronized with the JBCC® N/S mission agreement for the designation of designated and selected subcontractors, who will hire it on the same terms as the principal contractor. The content is not only a legal document, but also a checklist for the execution of the work and to minimize any differences of opinion – to effectively use the expensive working hours of all players of the role of a construction project – in conjunction with the contract data, in which all contractual variables are registered, first by the employer to obtain offers from the contractors, and supplemented by the contractor and submitted in the form of Basic Suite – this option is provided for those who do not want to declare.
